Safety:

No compromises

We are uncompromising when it comes to safety. Areas of the site and safety equipment are primarily designed for safety.

All of the systems have been approved by TÜV and are regularly inspected. Our visitors are doubly secured at all times and are instructed directly by trained guides. The site is equipped with permanent self-belaying equipment; accidental removal of the belaying equipment is impossible. Our guides can help anxious zip-liners abseil at any point on site.

While high safety standards on high ropes courses used to mean equipment that was difficult to handle, light, easy-to-use equipment is now available. At our Ziplinepark, we only use sophisticated technology from specialised manufacturers for recovery and personal safety systems.

Cable pulleys and belts come from PETZL, one of the best-known suppliers in the field of recovery and rescue technology. We use the CLiC-iT system for belaying to the cable. Two carabiners that communicate with each other prevent climbers and zip-liners from unintentionally disconnecting completely.

We only use high-quality materials, fasteners and cables on our site:

Westfälische Drahtindustrie in Dortmund manufactures our PYTHON 6 R+F suspension cables. All fasteners comply with the applicable standards and regulations. Our platforms are made from durable domestic softwoods.

The Ziplinepark can generally be used from 12 years of age. All persons under the age of 18 need a declaration of consent from their parents in order to visit the Ziplinepark.

We are happy to contact those responsible for groups of underage participants (teachers, youth leaders, parents) in advance and advise them on the procedure.
